Who cares?

The ‘worms of Warmley’ care because they need rain to slip and slither down their holes in the ground… That’s the breaking news from our house this month. We live in Warmley, a part of Bristol in the South West of England, UK.

What else is catching the eye of ordinary people in England today?

The answer to that question is covid-19 – AGAIN!! Yes, the dreaded Covid is hitting the charts and forcing us to take notice, all the way from India, the centre of the universe for our beloved, ONPASSIVE business developers.

The April showers have all been shed like tears from the eyes of desperate Indian people crying for the state of their relatives. People are dying on the streets outside hospitals because there are not enough beds for the thousands suffering from this blasted virus.

To show just how interconnected we are in this world, ONPASSIVE co-founders in England are weeping for those poor Indians who can’t go to work to keep us amazed at their high-tech skills in Hyderabad. Never before has there been such a disaster across the face of this planet Earth; never before have we needed each other so much. The irony driving this event is the one about India, the ‘pill-production’ workshop of the western world. They make the vaccines for us democratic types but haven’t got enough raw materials to create the same for themselves! We are looking at a catastrophe made by nature and imposed on humans (for a change)!

April Showers – where are you when we need you to wash away the stains of human disaster. What will come next and when will we humans ever learn? If it takes a disaster to awaken our spirit of care, what does it take to arouse the human race to prevent disasters happen in the future?

Do we need to be persuaded with money or reward? Do we need to be punished first or threatened with something worse?
